Due to the generosity of the authors of "The Pamunkey Davenport Papers", the net proceeds of all its sales is earmarked for the Davenport DNA Fund. This ongoing legacy will allow the Davenport Surname DNA Project to purchase DNA tests for selected individuals whose Y-DNA may help advance the study of their line. Below is a list of the branches we are currently looking for. If you are a Davenport, and are descended via a straight male line, from one of the branches listed below - you may qualify for a free or discounted test. Since the monies for all these tests are not currently available, they will be used on a first come, first served basis. |
